Responsibilities: 1. Support onsite supplier assessments / audits for potential new suppliers within the global sourcing strategy (BCC Best Cost Country Sourcing), locate and develop new sources for defined set of parts 2. Assess suppliers’ capabilities and capacity and identify supplier risks 3. Work in interdisciplinary team (Simultaneous Engineering) with SDM, SQM, Engineering and Production to ensure correct understanding of Liebherr specification / requirement by new suppliers 4. Support Purchasing activities during project phase (APQP), SOP Timeline must be met. 5. Plan, organize delivery schedules and ramp up/down planning 6. Support product approval according Liebherr and standard quality deliverables (PPAP/PPF) 7. Contract and price negotiation with supplier 8. Support Make or Buy decision process 9. Other tasks assigned by the superior
Job Requirements: 1. Bachelor degree or above in Engineering/Industrial Engineering/ Business Administration, strong mechanical background/knowledge,at least 3 years working experience in the areas of purchasing within Manufacturing, Automotive, Construction industry 2. Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of technical relationships 3. Good communication and coordination skills, assertiveness and persuasiveness even in challenging situations 4.
