The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for identifying, planning, and optimizing processes and systems to enhance the safety, quality and productivity in operations across the organization. To collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous improvements are aligned with operation excellence (BAC excellence) objectives and are sustainable over the long term.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Identify and analyze operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and wastes to develop improvement plans.
Improve manufacturing material and information flow with lead one piece flow and pull system project and embed into production.
Develop and implement new processes, procedures, and tools to enhance operational performance as manufacturing LT, assembly line flow and balance.
Collaborate with production, quality, supply chain and Dalian manufacturing engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of Kaizen project events.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of implemented improvements, adjusting plans as needed to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
Provide training and guidance to team members on lean tools, new processes and best practices.
Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and methodologies to explore new opportunities for improvement.
