Product test engineer
Responsibilities:
82 Plan and perform diverse R&D tests (such as feasibilty, design verification, type test), support to get certificates and approbations and help the project managers to understand the resulting requirements from such activites;
82 Plan, setup, execute and analyse feasibility tests for different test items as part of design verification tests, integration tests, qualification tests, type tests and hypothesis validation tests according to the project test plans;
82 Assist to create and review project test plans, plan and coordinate approval activities supporting the project test manager;
82 Ensure, that neither environment nor people can be harmed in any form by any of the equipment and any of the auxiliary materials of the test center;
82 Document the test results, review together with project test manager and publish test reports after review;
82 Support to determine the consequences for all technical changes which are requested (impact analysis) related to R&D tests, certificates and approbations, provide evaluations and recommendations;
82 Observe the state of the art related to test equipment, verification and approbation with focus on the own competence field;
82 Contribute to internal and external competence networks (as defined by the supervisor test and certificates).
82 Leveraging different test design methodologies to design test cases based on User Story, Requirement Specification, Functional Specification, Test Strategy/Plan
82 Cooperate with project team perform product risk analysis and prepare Risk-based-testing plan
82 Setup test environments (including hardware/software to be tested, instruments and test tools).
82 Develop test tools as necessary
82 Design and implement LabVIEW or PLC based test automation program for Hardware/Software testing

Requirements:
82 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a major in electronical engineering, automation, industrial communication protocols
82 3 years experience in product test
82 Know how to execute product type tests (such as vibration, temperature, Chemical test, Salt spray test);
82 Know how to test instrument such as Digital multimeter, Signal generator, OSC…
82 PLC and LabVIEW programming knowledge are highly preferred
82 Electronics design or test experience.
82 Industry Standards such as CPA, WARS, PED, CRN, SIL, Ex, Atex & Co;
82 Sensor knowledges (especially Flowmeter knowledge would be highly preferred);
82 Industry Communication Protocol (such as Bluetooth, HART, ModBus, OPC, FF, ProfiBus, ProfiNet…etc.);
82 Test automation design, execution and troubleshooting capabilities and experience.
ISTQB certification is preferred
