Job Responsibilities: Aggressively hunt for and exceed the sales targets set by PSA BDP. Develop and implement sales strategies suitable for local market to aligned with organizational objectives to achieve targets set by PSA BDP. Perform local market research to uncover trends. And to stay updated on industry regulations, trade practices & economic trends impacting the freight forwarder sector. Take a proactive, go-getter approach to generating leads through multiple channels, including cold calling, conferences, networking events, and referrals, to expand the customer base. Demonstrate expertise in freight forwarding, transportation, contract logistics, and multimodal solution selling, leveraging industry knowledge to close deals. Relentlessly pursue new business while collaborating with cross-functional teams within PSA BDP to deliver optimal solutions. Build and strategically nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, including shippers, manufacturers, and distributors. Actively engage with customers to understand their unique needs and develop tailored transportation and logistics solutions. Maintain a robust and well-managed sales pipeline, ensuring timely input and updates in the CRM system. Provide consistent sales reports and performance updates to management, ensuring transparency in sales efforts. Take full ownership of the RFQ process, driving it from initiation to completion with a results-oriented mindset. Effective communication with internal departments for seamless services to customers.
Requirements: Relentless sales hunter mindset with a strong drive to pursue and close new business. Diploma/Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent or relevant freight industry experience. Additional industry certifications are a plus. B2B sales high-impact sales experience in freight forwarding industry, with a track record of exceeding targets and winning new accounts. Exceptional negotiation and persuasive communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to influence key decision-makers. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems to manage and track sales activities efficiently. Demonstrated success in competitive environments, with strong rankings, awards, or notable achievements in academics or professional experience. Experience in Freight transportation, contract Logistics, service solution sales, or international sales is highly preferred. Possess strong knowledge in Air and Ocean Freight will have added advantages. Highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and is eager to hunt for new sales opportunities.
