Mechanical Design Engineer
Mission: Contribute to R&D projects with focus on mechanical design for new product development and Maitenenace on existing products e.g.Electromagenetic Flowmeter as well as process troubleshooting and enhancement
Responsibilities
82 Provides mechanical engineering support for new product development and product maintenance, such as enhancement and cost reduction from design perspective;
82 Ensure the feasibility and high quality of own results, related to the design, specifications and documentation, with technical guidance from senior engineers;
82 Pre-survey key components, e.g., functionality, certifications, specifications, etc., and perform necessary tests/simulations .....
82 Clear requirements definition besides drawings, and even implement the design change.
82 Evaluate the test result
82 Praprare the qualification plan with the manufactory unit, performance the technical clarification with supplier during the qualification
82 Collaborate with cross function teams (like production, procurement, quality…etc.) to drive the implementation of the new designs
82 Watch the state-of-the-art and identify trends in the related specific competence area, including structural components, materials, tools/methods, standards, dynamics, thermodynamics;
82 Comply with Siemens business guideline and related regulations.

Requirements
82 Three years’ mechanical engineering or related major education
82 Prefer to have relative experiences on Electromagenic Flowmeter
82 Perfer to have the experiences on the design of the pressure equipments
82 Preferred experience of product design, design verification and documentation for integrated systems, sub-systems and modules, from concept design up to release to production
82 Basic knowledge of materials, dynamics, thermodynamics, tolerance evaluation, structural elements
82 Basic experience of risk assessment and risk mitigation planning
82 Basic knowledge of standards and approvals and preferred international standards and approvals, such as CPA, NEPSI, TSG, ATEX, NEMA, CSA, FM, IEC, PED, etc
82 Basic knowledge of manufacturing technologies, such like assembling, welding, precision machining, injection moulding, aluminum die casting, sheet metal, etc.
82 Experienced design skills on Electomagnetic Flowmeter product:
82 Chemical material knowledge on liner , potting, painting….
Certification knowledge on liner
Magnetic field knowledge on magnetic components
Mechanical material knowledge like material strength, tolerance, molding , manufacture process….
Electrical knowledge of cable and coil.
82 Preferred knowledge of DtX, such like design for manufacturing and design to cost
82 Basic knowledge of mechanical design CAD system such as NX and simulation tools like FEM (structrual mechanical, thermal and fluidic problems)
82 English as working language
