● Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. ● Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations. ● Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits with certain guidance.
1. Accounts Payable and Receivable (external and intercompany):
● Provide guidance for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including customer billing, collections, and credit control as well as Payroll accounting treatment.
1. Month-End Closing and Financial Analysis:
● Led sub-functional team in preparing the month-end closing process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals. ● Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
1. Process Improvement:
● Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation. ● Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
1. Accounting System Maintenance and Digitalization:
● Evaluate and enhance existing accounting systems (such as ERP software) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and data integrity. ● Drive digital transformation efforts within the accounting department, including process automation, data analytics, and cloud-based solutions. 6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
● Work closely with other departments (such as finance, operations, and legal) to ensure alignment and accurate financial reporting. Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. ● Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred. ● Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles. ● Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. ● Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams. ● Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
