Responsibilities:
· Manage the software development process for our embedded firmware projects, starting from requirements definition through production release Understand needs, fully comprehend the project’s objectives, know how the final product should look like
· Help to turn the product requirement and features into technical requirements that software developers understand.
· Produce timetables, assign tasks to team members, develop checkpoints for progress
· Provide information and status reports to all stakeholders, set up sites in JIRA
· Help determine what tests our QA should run and inspect the results for quality
· Improve operation, support suppliers
· Assist in training users or writing instruction manuals.
· Work closely with our JDM and ODM partners in delivering embedded software projects in time


Requirements:
5+ years of work experience in Software Project Management in cross-functional environments with multiple internal and external dependencies[DK2]
Must possess outstanding communication skills
Have leadership skills and can take control of a project; can direct, delegate, boost morale, solve problems, and keep everything flowing
Background in programming languages (such as C or C++) and testing procedures
Strong knowledge in embedded software development best practices
Experience with bug tracking systems and regression testing
Able to handle multiple releases across product categories and platforms
Preferred working experience as embedded firmware engineer
Organization skills and attention to details
Highly desired: experience with consumer electronics
Business trip to China mainland. Such as TW, Germany
