Main Objectives: - Support the merchandising team, advising on construction,risk analysis and accessories to maintain target prices. - Checking all samples before sending to the UK, for workmanship, construction, safety compliance and appearance. - Provide technical Approvals/Comments for all new products, accessories and components. - Access and manage testing of product. - To manage the bulk production process of new styles in conjunction with the UK Technical Team. Technical Function with Suppliers: - To attend Technical Meetings with the Factory/Sample Rooms. - To regularly visit Factories to follow up on samples, give guidance and check new developments for construction and workmanship. - On going communication with the sample rooms/suppliers to discuss all Technical Issues. - Work with the Sample Rooms/factories, so they understand and achieve the NEXT requirements. - Constantly review the process and advise on any new systems. - To ensure all base and bulk materials and constructions are tested & approve in line with critical path. Technical Function with UK: - To provide full and correct information when completing/updating the FERs. - Establish strong communication links with the UK Technologists, to facilitate a good relationship and culture of trust. - To respond quickly to any queries from UK Technologists. The candidate must: - have good English skills, spoken and written. can communicate with UK members with oral and written. - have more than 3 years technical experience of different kinds of shoes. - be computer literate - be able to travel
