General
The job holder plays a key role in procuring high-quality and cost-efficient suppliers for the assigned locations in Spin Master. He/she will follow the procurement procedures and evaluate the suppliers, their services, and negotiating contracts.

Specific Responsibilities
1. Sourcing materials, components and new suppliers for new projects as required
2. Liaise with vendors and suppliers on the components, product costs
3. Establish and maintain the costing database/parameters from suppliers
4. Review and analyze the suppliers, supply, and price options
5. Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
6. Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
7. Work with internal and external parties as a team in order to achieve identified target costs for new projects
8. Prepare internal product quotes based on prelim function description and sketches for new development projects as well as existing products
9. Perform ad-hoc project as assigned.

7. Good command of spoken & written English & Chinese.
8. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
9. Experience of SAP operation is preferred.

Required Qualifications & Experience
1. Bachelor’s Degree in engineering/procurement/supply chain or equivalent.
2. 3-5 years solid sourcing and product costing experience in MNC
3. Sound knowledge in toy manufacturing industry or related field
4. Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems
5. Occasional travel is required.
