What You Will Do 61 Design and develop tools that manufacture or run Molex products. Design tools for new products that follow existing design standards. Designs need to be completed in a manner which is easily maintained in a production environment, in a cost effective manner. 61 To support ME, maintenance and production on tooling or semi-automatic machine & equipment trouble-shooting, Assist Project Engineers in developing new and unique tool types. Review Molex products for compliance with existing assembly equipment. 61 Fully support new product development through automation production line in NPI process. Concept new tools that manufacture or run Molex products. Design tools for new products and establish new design standards. Designs need to be completed in a manner which is easily maintained in a production environment, in a cost effective manner. 61 Support Molex customers, Molex plants and other internal customers with their tooling needs. Provide engineering analysis and recommendations to improve tooling performance. Provide clear and consistent documentation to support tools and products over their life,To support Productivity improvement activities 61 To draft SOP or WI for automatic or semi-automatic equipment and training end user 61 To follow and maintain automation system and document control
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) 61 College degree or above in engineering or automation or 6 years minimum mechanical& tooling design experience 61 More than 5 year experience in large manufacturing plant or professional equipment or tooling company, with minimum 4 years working experience in stamping, die or automatic, assembly design etc. Knowledge of metals and plastics. 61 2D & 3D CAD skills for modelling and documentation, Unigraphics / NX experience 61 Knowledge of mechanism (design & analysis), mechanical cam driven, electrical servo driven, etc. Ability to estimate costs of components designed Tolerance analysis experience
