Responsibilities:
1. Project Quality Management: including development and transfer (mold transfer in, mold duplication) project.
a) Provide the measurement resource planning (internal, external cost and timeline, labor hours) and service to project team. Work on measurement method & system according to the design intention, build up and qualify the measurement fixture for mold maker T0/ FAI process and gauges for PSQC/IQC/Suppliers at SOP stage.
b) Assign QCs to join in mold trial at mold maker and PS for visual check, measurement, assembly test, follow up the assembly trial to track plastic part quality.
c) Build up and maintain the visual criteria for in-house made plastic part from new project to Series production in plant wide.
d) Other tasks assigned to PS quality at project stage like package verification, experiment according to the demand requested.
e) Join in the mold maker audit and Evaluation, conduct regular supplier score card.
f) Support the subcontractor / direct suppliers for quality control system and improvement activities on plastic parts.
2. Series Production Quality Management
a) Manage plastic quality first article inspection and in-process control procedure as the IMS required. Make sure the quality activities for inspection and control are implemented sufficiently and effectively though whole plastic part production processes.
b) Create and maintain up-to-date status for Syteline QC item Creation, Molding Inspection Plan (MIP), QC inspection status etc.
c) Ensure the consistency btw the system location and physical location of plastic parts under control conditions.
d) Work with production department for CPII Q2, CPIX, customer complaint, drive the action plan to prevent issues on why happened and why escape, maintain the Status Systematics Report related to In-house Plastic part quality but not limited.
e) Mainer SPC system and push team for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
1. At least college education background and bachelor’s degree is preferred. Majored in mechanical technology or related area.
2. Familiar with Plastic part injection process and molds.
3. Understand the quality control process and problem-solving knowledge is a must to drive root cause analysis and corrective actions, preventive actions by using data (Statistics) driven skills.
4. Know ISO 9001 QMS requirements, master quality tools including MSA, SPC, PPAP, GRR, QCC, Six Sigma, 8D etc.
5. Command quality management theories and has good quality concept, get the basic knowledge for operation and requirements from KPI, 6S, EPR etc.
6. Have certain knowledge / experience for project management and continuous improvement projects.
7. ISO 9001 internal auditor and Six Sigma Green Belt (or above) are plus.
8. English can be used as working language.
