Summary: The Manager of Production Planning and Control will oversee daily production schedules and ensure that inventory levels are managed properly. Responsibilities: 61 Oversees the production process to ensure delivery of high-quality products that meet customers’ needs. 61 Ensures appropriate production rate to reduce delivery delays. 61 Identifies any bottlenecks or delays in production; ensures necessary labor, materials, and other resources are available to relieve production bottlenecks and delays. 61 Uses production planning and scheduling to limit materials shortages. 61 Works with Productions to schedule maintenance and repair of machines used in production process to avoid downtime or delays. 61 Manages inventory balance on a regular basis; ensures to hit the inventory control target. 61 Builds an effective and efficient team. Conducts timely and constructive performance evaluations. 61 Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements: 61 Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field required. At least 5 years of relevant experience required. 61 Extensive knowledge of manufacturing requirements and planning. 61 Excellent communication and inter-personal skills. 61 Excellent analytical, teamworking and problem-solving skills. 61 Proficient with JDE or similar computerized materials control programs. 61 Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PPT).
