Job Purpose
To ensure garments are produced to agreed technical specifications at all Panache suppliers, actively involved in problem solving between PUK and our suppliers, investigating any reasons for none-compliance. Awareness of critical dates to ensure technical issues do not delay the delivery date.
Key Accountabilities
Development
61 Check samples are correct for quality, make up and measurements before sending to PUK.
61 Resolve issues with PUK on any pattern and measurement issues
61 Provide input and assistance when required by PUK for establishing the product fit.
61 Pro-active problem-solve at all times.
Factories
61 Attend Pre-production meetings with relevant factory people.
61 Perform In-line inspections in line with CP dates
61 Solve technical issues during production, particularly any pattern and measurement chart problems.
61 Set standards for quality.
61 Attend selected AQL Inspections with our QC for pro-active follow up.
Quality
61 Responsible for follow up of any issues identified in all inspections.
61 Responsible for checking Shipment Samples from factories.
61 Follow up on any customer returns or complaints.
61 Train QC staff to perform their duties.
61 Investigate AQL failures using our Company Flow-Chart.
Administration/Communication
61 Must be fluent in Oral and Written English.
61 Must be computer literate, mainly with regard to E-Mail, Word and Excel.
61 Liaise with design and technical regarding any quality issues and facilitate communication with PUK technical and QC team.
61 Respond and deal with day to day queries from Factories and PUK.
61 Responsible for ensuring all issues are communicated and resolved
