01 Role / Job Overview:
- Monitor Chemical & physical tests for all Marc Jacobs RTW & JW goods.
- Ensure the MJ protocols respect, compliance and covers all exports countries testing regulations
- Minimum 5 years of experience with testing on Ready to Wear, Jewelry & accessories.
- Able to judge the specimen and provide conclusions and decisions when necessary.
01 Responsibilities & Duties:
- Responsible to ensure that all suppliers & vendors are following MJ protocols.
- In charge to keep MJ protocols updated accordingly with the testing regulations.
- Tracking the materials during the early stages, updating the MTC, (Material Tracking Charge), weekly, to make sure that suppliers and vendors submitted the samples for testing
- Check the risk analysis and test of new materials every season and provide the necessary call out to NY PD in case of failure.
- Provide shocking test for the new styles in case of failure work with HK Technician + QA team + NY PD, to find a better way during bulk production.
- Responsible to propose specific tests for special constructions on raw materials or finished goods stages.
- Able to identify potential problems and propose corrections in early stages together with the vendors, P&D and quality team, such as; quality migration, functional issue, resistance and chemical issue when necessary.

01 Key competences:
- Diploma or equivalent degree on chemical Engineering / testing officer.
- Good command in English.
- Strong analytical mind set, organized, self-initiative, pro-active, and able to work under pressure.
- Great follow up, clear communication & reporting skills
- Open for new challenges, open mind set (think out of the box), seek new opportunities to improve our testing protocols
- Proficiency in using PC application, i.e. outlook, word, power point, excel etc.
