Responsibilities:
.Develop and implement a process/system to create and manage Environmental Product Declarations (EPD).
.ake technical responsibility for detailed material descriptions, environmental management, and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
.Participate actively in the development and implementation of sustainability strategies.
.Conduct life cycle assessments (LCA) and calculate the CO2 footprint of our products following industry standards.
.Calculate the ratio of recyclable material in our products.
.Support the development and implementation of new materials for more sustainable products.
.Prepare and conduct trainings on product sustainability and its implementation.
Qualifications:
.Education in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Organic Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field.
.Knowledge in materials science and process engineering, particularly regarding environmental impact and sustainability.
.Experience in material sourcing, supply chain sustainability, or circular economy principles.
.Proficiency with LCA tools, preferably LCA for Experts (GaBi).
.Understanding of standards and methodologies for LCA and EPD, including ISO 14040, ISO 14044, ISO 14025, and EN 15804.
.Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and reporting software.
.Excellent English communication skills.
.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
