Product Optimization Specialist Job description: - Analysing existing products for cost reduction without compromising quality or customer satisfaction. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities in the supply chain. - Evaluating the product's bill of materials (BOM) and negotiating better pricing and contracts with suppliers. - Researching and recommending cost-effective alternatives for materials, ingredients, or packaging. - Implementing strategies to streamline manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency. - Collaborating with R&D and engineering teams for product redesign or reengineering for cost savings. - Monitoring market trends and technological advancements for innovative cost-saving solutions. - Conducting cost-benefit analyses and providing recommendations for informed decision-making. - Tracking KPIs related to product optimization, cost savings, efficiency, and quality. - Staying updated on industry regulations and best practices for continuous improvement. Job Requirements: - Degree holder in Business related subjects or equivalent with 3-4 years of relevant experience - Experienced in tight deadline working environment. - Ability to produce accurate and informative data and self-organize with large volume of data. - Ability to prioritize on time management regardless of work location and time zone - Proficiency with Microsoft Office skills - Excellence professional communication skills with both English and Chinese fluency - Adaptive to change and challenges with a positive can-do attitude - A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Be able to work proactively, independently, and efficiently
