This role primarily involves manufacturing process development, provide the process technical support during the new project development. Including new production line and fixture development, new project documentation readiness (PFC, PFMEA, SOP), equipment selection; Lead a small group of process Engineer/Technician to troubleshoot issue and drive continuous improvement to stabilize product quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Supervise and improve the daily work of the department related to process development, sample quality and delivery in the new product development stage, formulate the department work plan and work target. 2.Responsible for new project DFM and PFMEA analysis, provide the suggestion and proposal before the design frozen. 3.Review the fixture design, monitor the fixture developing progress until the fixture is transferred to mass production. 4.Responsible for review new project documentations, such as flow chart (PFC), work instruction (SOP), PFMEA. 5.Joining the new project development meeting, prioritize the escalated daily issues, lead and arrange resource for solution study and tracking the progress. 6.Make KPI realization plan and review regularly to take action that ensure the plan has been executed properly and achieve expected result。 7.Leading in utilizing company resource for investigation and addressing critical quality/productivity issue that has been overdue for long time. 8.Ensure all new and backfill employees receive proper orientation and training for all aspects of their role, including their COS engagement and responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: 1.College degree or above, major in Science and Engineering. 2.5+ Years of working experience in relevant position, 2+years of management experience, cable assembly experience is preferred. 3.Good troubleshooting capability. 4.Proficient in quality tools like Fishbone/5why and Certificated Lean-Six sigma green/Black belt is preferred. 5.Familiar with one of manufacturing process: soldering process (manual/laser/welding/hot-bar), potting process (UV /AB/hot-melt adhesive), coating process (wire coating), stamping process (terminal stamping), and crimping process. Mastering one of the processes is preferred. 6.Good at listening, writing, and reading English. 7.Aggressive and can work under high pressure. 8.Quickly response capability.
