I. Key Job Responsibilities 61To proactively develop product strategies together with the brand PD and Sourcing team that would enable the brand to successfully stay ahead of market competition. 61To devise a strategic plan and drive the development of LTH’s merchandising capabilities, processes and methodologies within the LTH and our partners. 61To strategically source and develop alliance factories that compliments the LTH existing OEM capabilities. 61To proactively plan and develop the right people structure in all the LTH OEM operations and work in conjunction with the LTH other Corp members in IE, HR, Manufacturing etc. 61To develop a product develop plan for new customer and strategy to achieve the business and budget objectives. 61To proactively source for materials and trims that would improve our competitiveness, set up new material sourcing team for SKX Korea. 61To proactively develop alliance factories. 61To oversee and ensure the right allocation of products to different OEMs and strategic alliance factories to achieve these operational units targets. 61To stay on top of the market trends and dynamics in China. 61To proactively work with Customers on our technology solutions and create products that will meet their innovation requirements for the market. 61To jointly work with SKECHERS to develop costing, technical , quality standards etc. that would support the SEES objectives. 61To ensure all merchandising teams are properly executing bulk and sample development orders, including TMS(Adidas),SKECHERS and other customers in DDYT. 61To constantly coach, build and develop a sales and merchandising operation team and ensure its smooth daily operation. II. Competency Requirement 61Bachelor’s degree in any discipline 6120 years’ experience in the business/merchandising positions for apparel brands and/or OEM setting. With 5 years in a senior management with P&L responsibility preferred. 61Fluent Mandarin, Cantonese and English a plus 61This position requires frequent travelling to Dandong and major cities for market visit. 61Experience in working in a Business and Product development role, bridging customer needs and in-house technical teams, and external material and trims suppliers. 61Experience in developing product strategy and product mix 61Experience in positions that are accountable for business performance 61Garment Making Technical knowledge is a must 61Product Costing experience is also a must 61Sound knowledge in textile technicalities 61Experience in working in transformative projects in a large OEM or in national china brand. 61Hands-on Experience in developing new capabilities at a factory merchandising level. 61Positive and having a growth mindset. 61Strong communication in Chinese, and can discuss issues with different stakeholders with confidence and with minimal supervision 61Can bring people together to overcome challenges together 61Logical and strong problem solving capability 61Willing to make decisions
