The Material Engineer is one key role in Varistor new formulation development, in terms of material and process development to both New formulation development and also to continuous improvement of existing process to enhance product performance.

About the job:
Material science preferred, especially familiar electronic ceramic device, such as MOV products, MLV products, NTC, PTC.
Working experience of MLV frontend preferred.
Develop materials, processes and designs for next generation electronic component products; build and test prototype devices against product requirements
Should have ability to rapidly comprehend technical concepts, good problem solving capability, and good technical report writing skills; Use of DOE, SPC, Statistical analysis to demonstrate feasibility and process capability. Experience with directing the work of technicians preferred.
Develop regular updates on the progress on the development programme as required. Must be capable of leading projects and managing to deadlines; Project management of the new product development as per the Littelfuse 5-Phase process;

About you:
Bachelor in Material/electronic Science with an emphasis on ceramics being an advantage.
with minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing or Research lab environment.
