1. Manage and monitor the supplier portfolio, develop and introduce more competitive suppliers to improve supply base competence. 2. Execute negotiations for purchasing contracts, deliver agreed savings and meet cost down targets. 3. Ensure payment terms and other contract arrangements set with suppliers are in line with the company purchasing policy and procedures. 4. Work with Quality team and buyers to improve supplier performance and ensure customer quality requirements are met. 5. Keep Monitoring the market to understand updated market trend, external cost evolution triggers, cost driver and technical trend. 6. Manage supplier relationship and build sustainable & effective partnerships with suppliers. 7. Supplier performance control, drive for continuous cost reduction, on time delivery, shorter lead time and quality excellence etc. 8. Collaborate closely with quality & buyer on supply base optimization. Act as key contact point between business and suppliers to ensure effective communication.
Qualification requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronics Engineering. 2. Strong know-how and minimum 5years’ working experience of electronic components sourcing with strong technical background. 3. Deep understanding on electronic components market, curious, passionate for purchasing, industries and new technologies. 4. Good analytical skills and legal knowledge in contract negotiation. 5. Professional knowledge of supplier development, supplier performance assessment and evaluation. 6. Good knowledge in engineering drawing, able to read and interpret drawings and specifications, with at least 5 years’ experience within EMS manufacturing environment. 7. Good interpersonal skills and team player. emotional maturity to handle multiple tasks under pressure. 8. Good written and spoken English
