Job Summary:
A Packaging Specialist is responsible for selecting and designing packaging materials and methods for the company's products which sales on Amazon. Ensure that products are protected during shipping, and that packaging meets regulatory requirements. A Packaging Specialist also collaborates with other departments to ensure that products are packaged efficiently and meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:
61 Optimize product costs by assessing packaging design, materials, and processes, exploring alternatives, and recommending artwork/design techniques (in-line with the content team’s approach for the Brand’s design guidelines).
61 Select and test packaging materials based on product compatibility, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness, ensuring quality and safety standards.
61 Improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize costs through packaging process optimization.
61 Ensure compliance with packaging regulations and industry standards, including environmental and safety requirements.
61 Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product development, marketing, sourcing, and quality management.
61 Analyze packaging costs to identify savings opportunities while maintaining quality.
61 Drive sustainability initiatives, implementing eco-friendly alternatives in alignment with brand managers.
61 Test and validate packaging designs for performance, durability, and user experience.
61 Manage suppliers, evaluate capabilities, negotiate contracts, and maintain a reliable supply chain.
61 Continuously improve and innovate packaging design and processes, staying updated with trends and implementing best practices.


Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or a related field
3-5 years of experience in sourcing or packaging design and development
Strong knowledge of packaging materials and methods
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience with regulatory requirements and testing procedures
Can use English as working language
