About the Role: We're on the lookout for a dynamic Specification Consultant to join our team at WAC Architectural Lighting. You'll be the face of our premium indoor and outdoor lighting products, building strong relationships and boosting our brand in your territory. You'll work closely with our experienced sales team,marketing, product development, and other departments, providing valuable field insights and feedback.
What You'll Do: Promote Our Architectural Lighting Products: Actively present and promote WAC Lighting products, generating project specifications through strong relationships with lighting designers, architects,consulting engineers, and other key influencers. Collaborate with Partners: Work closely with / at WAC Distribution partners on specification strategies, keeping everyone in the loop with ongoing plans and activities. Engage with the Community: Par05ticipate in and organize events within the local lighting community. Adapt Sales Plans: Understand the dynamics of key influencers in your market and adjust your sales approach and forecast accordingly. Provide Feedback: Share field insights from the lighting design and specification community with our product marketing, development, and R&D teams. Work Flexibly: Operate from your home- office with regular in-person meetings at our factories in Thailand and China. Report to Leadership: This role reports to the VP of Interna05onal Sales for SEA/Middle East, based in Singapore/Thailand.
What We're Looking For: Sales Experience: Proven experience in outside sales, with a strong network within the local lighting specification community (lighting designers, interior designers, architects, landscape designers,contractors, developers,engineers). Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills, and a likable, positive attitude. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of project specification business procedures, lighting design principles, electrical systems, and the latest lighting technology. Language Skills: Fluent in English and the local language. Travel Ability: Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time to meet with lighting specifiers and clients, with most of your time spent in your assigned markets.
