The Lab Assistant Manager is the direct link between the AO management and the assigned factory laboratory. In this way, the Lab Assistant Manager must ensure that his dedicated factory laboratory is set-up and works according to TOMS requirements. The Lab Assistant manager ensures to conduct independent lab to ensure chemical test conduct is following any countries which TOMS are exporting. For global RSL as well as GB norm. The Lab Assistant manager will train, audit and control the results and ensure the machinery will be caliber Yearly. Meanwhile will select, monitor the Lab third party that work closely with TOMS. - Essential Responsibilities 1. 25% Reviewing TOMS current physical testing standard and methods to provide a proper standard and method fitting to TOMS needs yearly. Check and update TOMS RSL files according with any new standards set in global requirements. 2. 25% Ensure functional and operational strategies and programs are in place to support both new and on-going business development testing need for integration into new product. Cross function cooperation with PD and Material teams. 3. 15% Participated and share recommendations at TOMS AO TDM's to Design, Product Development, Engineer, Material and Manufacturing on product physical test result when new product, new material applied on TOMS are used. 4. 15% Train/monitor/ setup testing methods/ ensure machinery are caliber in vendors/facilities lab. 5. 10% Monitor smart link and provide details & information monthly and yearly on the main rejection points, new standards and cost of lab vendors. 6. 10% Conduct and manage special projects requested and set by DMO. - Work Experience, Skills,& Abilities 1. Lad test process Advanced 5 years+ 2. Lab machinery Advanced 5 years+ 3. RSL contains Intermediate (3-5 yrs) - Prior Experience & Qualifications 1. Worked in Lad and/or in related field Required 2. Worked in footwear technical department. Preferred 3. English Preferred
