About the role This role will be part of a focused, high caliber procurement team and will have the responsibility for developing and implementing the sourcing strategy for a broad spectrum of Equipment (Semiconductor related preferable.) covering the manufacturing locations in Asia. Concern complex equipment, parts and service strategies and projects, including stakeholder management and negotiations.
What you will do 1. Commodity Management Drive, direct and lead the sourcing and strategy development in order to achieve a competitive cost structure for the Back End Sites in Asia located in Philippines, Malaysia and China. Provide input into stakeholder scope of requirements while offering commercial suggestions for value creation and maintaining a competitive environment Perform market scanning and supplier research to discover, develop and engage with potential new suppliers in the market Perform market research to obtain market knowledge and experience to develop negotiation strategies Analysis of spend categories and market conditions for appropriate application of sourcing strategies Perform benchmarking, TCOO analysis and supplier risk assessment prior to supplier awarding of a purchase/project 2. Cost Management Develop and lead global sourcing projects and lead commercial negotiations consisting cross-functional international team members Work together with supply chain/spare part management team to develop and consolidate forecast for future demands and growth Negotiates with supplier on cost increase demand and uses TCOO to push back and advocate for better equipment performance 3. Supplier and Supply Management Manage/Qualify Supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, technology and service, in order to achieve best-in-class supply base Maintain close relationship with supplier’s key account manager & Performs supplier tiering within organization 4. Process Management: Drive implementation of program tools in order to achieve Procurement operations excellence 5. Contract Management: Manage and negotiate supplier contracts in order to have the best terms and conditions for Nexperia 6. Stakeholder Management: Manage the relationship between key account managers of suppliers and internal stakeholders who are the end users. 7. Risk management: Conduct and consolidate the risk analysis activities cross site stakeholder under the current trading environment
What you will need 1. Bachelor or above in Engineering/Finance/Business or equivalent 2. Preferred at least 8 years of Global Semicon Equipment/Indirect sourcing experience 3. Strong sourcing, negotiation, presentation & analytical skills 4. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, Mandarin beneficial 5. Good at MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word, excellent data analysis skills & presentation skills are preferred 6. Team builder / player, hands on worker
