We are looking for a Packaging Engineer, main responsibilities included:
a. Take responsibility for packaging problems troubleshooting involving structure designs and packaging materials timely, work closely with cross-functional teams and factories, provide creative, timely and cost- effective solutions, and follow up the improvement process and result.
b. Summarize the frequent and important packaging problems reflected by customers in a timely manner, urge the factories to discuss the improvement plan with the packaging suppliers.
c.Work closely with factories, conduct cost analysis and benefit assessments of packaging materials and structural design against industry best practices to identify opportunities for improvement in quality and cost.
d.Create packaging standard and technical specifications and have it implemented in factories, ensure the packaging meets the quality standard and customers’ expectations.
e. Have good understanding of the clients’ protocol and good communication with the laboratory to help pass the tests for developing products.
f. Be the primary point of contact in participating key factories’ packaging suppliers performance assessment periodically, help to select qualified packaging suppliers.

Requirements:
a. Bachelor's degree, major in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, Materials Science related.
b. Minimum 3 years related working experience in trading companies. Having Vanity/ shower door/ furniture related products background, knowledgeable in the packaging structural designs and materials will be a plus.
c. Good analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to identify improvement opportunities from the testing results and the information provided by customers.
d. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
e. Familiar with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD drawings software and packaging structural designs.
f. Fluent English skill in oral and written.
g. Being familiar with ISTA test or relevant transit standard, understanding the laboratory testing process for /Vanity/ shower door/ furniture related products will be a plus.
h. Travel needed based on business requirements.
