1.Produce timely and accurate banking returns / surveys to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and reports required by oversea regulators.
2.Ensure the financial compliance in accordance with the relevant regulatory requirements of the Banking Ordinance and various HKMA SPMs and guidelines.
3.Assist in formulating the policies related to the compliance of relevant regulatory ratios and control limits.
4.Prepare regulatory related information to senior management, the Board and various committees.
5.Participate in the implementation and development of financial systems for regulatory reporting.
6.Support the Bank’s group regulatory reporting package and published financial statements to stakeholders.
1.University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with a recognized professional qualification is an advantage.
2.Minimum 3 years’ experience in regulatory reporting in banking or similar experience in auditing of financial institutions in large sized auditing firms.
3.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
4.Good communication, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.
5.Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective regulatory reporting processes.
6.Sound knowledge of application software such as MS Access, Excel and PowerPoint.
7.Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
