About the role
Entry-level professional in Test and Validation who analyzes equipment and processes, and prepares equipment for testing for small platforms/systems.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Software Testing Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

Primary responsibilities will include manual software test development and execution, with opportunities for automated test execution and development. Also responsible for capturing results and filling defect reports. Candidate must have experience working in a software testing environment with structured process, solid logic and debugging skills.
Responsibilities include:

● Develop, modify, execute and review software test plans and test cases. Analyze and write test standards and procedures for RLC(Residential Light Commercial) software, control algorithms, or web/App systems.
● Develop strategy and executes stress and performance tests to ensure product reliability
● Communicate with development and system teams regarding system functionality
● Document test results and defects into the defect tracking system
● Suggest ways to improve process and methodologies within the test department
● Collaborate with a cross functional team including marketing and technical support
● Develop automation scripts to perform end-to-end system testing

Requirements
As a minimum you must have:

● BS degree or above in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
● 5+ years of software testing experience
● Experience in designing and running functionality and performance tests
● Experience with Test processes and tools, test management systems, automation, analyzing bug trends.
● Team player, will have extensive interaction with development and marketing
● Highly motivated, customer focused and a clear thinker
● Able to deliver expected results with minimal supervision
● Good communication skill, primarily in English

Preferred:

● Familiarity with python, selenium automation skills will be a plus
● Preference for experience in agile development methodologies
● Experience with automated testing or development will be a plus
