All about the role: The OEM Technical Team Leader will oversee the technical aspects, execution, and delivery of OEM projects to meet specifications, timelines, and budgets. He/She will provide technical direction, coordinate cross-functional collaboration, maintain stakeholder communication, mitigate risks, drive continuous improvement, and ensure seamless integration with vendors and quality. Additionally, they will manage challenges, foster innovation, and present reports to leadership on resource planning and project outcomes.
What you’ll do: o Oversee the technical specifications, execution, and delivery of OEM projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, timelines, and budget constraints. o Provide technical direction and support to the project, ensuring the development of high-quality, innovative solutions. o Create the technical product documentation (following the Electrolux Project Management process) required for project execution and checkpoint gates (test plans, results, DFMEA, DFM/DFA&A, etc.). o Coordinate with other departments, including manufacturing, quality assurance, technical, and architectural modules, to ensure seamless project integration and execution. o Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including OEM partners, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes. o Identify and mitigate project development and implementation risks. o Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team, promoting best practices and innovative approaches to R&D. o Understand and report on our OEM vendors new technologies, features, and platforms. o Participate in NPD, quality, and cost projects, consulting with other engineers and managers as necessary o Conduct audits, verify and document evidence of material compliance and non-compliance per company standards o Provide recommendations and BA know-how of engineering designs and tests gained from previous projects to suppliers. o Track and follow batch DVT (development verification) and MVT (manufacturing verification) builds at the supplier factory. o Facilitate training and development growth for OEM technical leaders o Address activities prioritization within the team and regional architecture leaders while promoting synergies between team members
Who you are: o Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field. o Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in R&D. o Strong technical background in product development, with experience in OEM projects. o Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with strong mentoring and coaching skills. o Technical Management: Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, with a track record of successful delivery. o Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. o Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address technical challenges. o Cultural Awareness: Experience working in a multicultural environment, with an understanding of the local market and business practices in China.Desirable experience
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE o Greater than 5 years of team management experience. o 3 years or greater in a leadership role managing OEM projects. o Multilingual, including Mandarin Chinese o Food Preservation experience with multiple product platforms o Experience with tools associated with new project development activities, including toll gate development processes, design reviews, project planning, part tracking, and milestone schedule management. o Experience with refrigeration systems. o Direct experience with problem analysis and root cause investigation

WORK ENVIRONMENT o This position works in a typical office environment. During certain product development phases of a project, the individual will be required to spend time on the manufacturing floor and in the test lab.
INTERNAL/EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION o This position requires extensive communication with internal departments, external customers, and external vendors. Travel to vendor, customer, and manufacturing locations is required. These locations are within China and internationally.
