Job Summary: This role will be responsible for supporting product development, technical documentation, and quality assurance across all stages, from prototyping to after-sales. This role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to streamline production and address technical issues.
Key Responsibilities: a. Support product development by assisting in reviewing, testing, and installing product samples while documenting key technical details. b. Help troubleshoot technical issues during product development, production, and after-sales processes. c. Support Engineering Technicians to create and maintain instruction manuals, technical drawings, spare parts management, Bill of Materials (BOM) updates, and packaging artwork. d. Ensuring consistency and accuracy across all engineering documentation. e. Liaise with manufacturers to verify technical specifications and resolve production challenges. f. Gather and validate technical data to support internal teams such as Product Development, Quality Assurance, and Logistics etc.
Requirements: a. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering Management, or Furniture Design. b. Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in a trading company; background in Shower, Furniture and lighting is preferred. c. Experience in BOM management, technical documentation, and product testing. d. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues. e. Adaptable and proactive, with a willingness to take on diverse tasks. f. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with teams and suppliers. g. Proficiency in AutoCAD (including reading and modifying technical drawings). h. Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with experience in documentation and reporting. i. Fluent in spoken and written English; CET-6 or higher preferred. j. Business travel may be required as needed.
