The ideal candidate is required to have 1. At least 5 years working experience in purchasing managerial level, familiar with the purchasing process, building material is preferred; 2. Manage and monitor supply activities from sourcing, purchasing, cost negotiation, delivery shipment etc.; 3. Good at Microsoft applications, English speaking, writing and listening; 4. To know Accpac system and use ProE and AutoCAD; 5. Act as a team player and quick learner, be able to travel and work together with suppliers. 6.Global sourcing experience would be preferred.
Typical work activities 1. Project management, meeting suppliers and negotiating terms of contract; 2. Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers if needed; 3. Breaking and analyzing the cost, forecasting price trends and dealing with any emergencies on price issue; 4. Developing agreement and contacts for new suppliers, products, tooling or services; 5. Attending meetings and trade conferences / fairs / exhibitions and consolidate the manufacturing database; 6. Report to Sourcing Manager for the related projects update every week.
