Role Responsibilities 1. Ensure CDD information completed by the maker is current and valid, as per the required standards 2. Ensure CDD documents fulfil AML/CDD Procedures and local requirements for proper AML/CDD control. All work must be completed in strict adherence to operating manuals without deviations. 3. Ensure that control procedures outlined in various BOCs or Procedure Manuals are fully implemented 4. Checks compliance to policy, correctness and accuracy of the provided information 5. Validate correctness of risk rating and availability of required document 6. Quality of SOW and corroboration is adequate and carried out as required 7. Review the PEP assessment to ensure compliance to Local and Group Standards 8. Ensure data entry has been performed accurately cross referencing with documents; completed Tax assessment for HNW clients; Sanctions Questionnaire is completed; Adverse media and sanctions searches are comprehensive and attached
Our Ideal Candidates 1. Bachelor’s Degree holder with good English reading, writing and speaking abilities. 2. Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyse information from multiple sources, and use it to form well-reasoned, coherent and evidenced recommendations. 3. An inquisitive mind that will ask the right questions to fully understand the risk posed in each individual case. 4. Good knowledge of banking products and support structures strong written and verbal communication skills; general operational knowledge. 5. Good knowledge of regulations relating to Financial Crime Risk, as well as knowledge of the HKMA regulations and legislation on AML/CTF and sanctions will be an advantage. 6. Capability to manage multiple tasks, be client centric, mindful on repeated reviews and able to balance between AML risk and client concern when performing the RFI/TRR/HNW 7. Fluent Cantonese speaking. Oral English communication is required.
