KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Development 1.Achieve team quota and own region quota. 2.Identify new sales opportunities and work closely with the sales team to manage the sales process. 3. Identify the customer needs to provide feedback to product management for developing solutions that are focused on the chemical, pharmaceutical & life science market. 4.Develop and maintain relationships with key customer accounts as well as market influencers. 5.Build up and develop local dealers, cooperate with the dealers to well manage business through dealer. 6.Foster and develop team. Application Expertise: 1.Ensure that sales, support and service are kept informed of any technical, or strategic issues that may affect their roles. 2.Providing Sales with applications advice, ensuring products are targeted appropriately to satisfy customer needs and expectations. Market and Competitive Intelligence: 1.Use customer relationships, technical expertise and product knowledge to assist local and regional marketing in the planning and coordination of activities such as product launches, promotional campaigns, marketing communications, market research and competitive activity. 2.Provide technical information and guidance, where required, to support strategic planning, revenue planning, and monthly forecast processes. 3.Ensure that marketing receive product related feedback from customers and the field to be passed back to the relevant product groups. 4.Work with local sales and marketing staff to ensure that competitive information is fed back to the businesses in a timely way. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: 1Bachelor's Degree (B.S./B.A.) or up in a scientific discipline (Chemical, Biology, Pharmaceutical, Medical & related subject) required. Completion of an advanced degree in business (MBA) or related science is preferred. 2Must be perceived as an “industry expert” and possesses the ability to deliver presentations to both small audiences (customers) as well as large audiences (conferences/trade shows). 3Product and Market Knowledge. 4Experience and understanding of SCIEX products and how they can be applied to the local MS industry. 5Strong knowledge and understanding of the relative strengths and weaknesses of AB SCIEX major competitors. 6Detailed knowledge of technological developments and trends in the local MS industry. 7The ability to identify and develop new sales opportunities. 8MS industry experience in the China market. 9Ability to communicate in local language. 10Good understanding of local China business cultures and practices. 11Must be passionate about driving new revenue growth. 12Able to create new revenue opportunities in align with SCIEX China business strategy. 13Able to travel within territory responsible to carry out primary responsibilities. 14Strong communication skills. Must be able to listen effectively yet be able to present information to broad audiences of various levels.
