1.Review the German language instruction manuals and report on findings related to general language issues and technical issues based on the applied safety standards; 2.Approve instruction manuals for SGS GS mark certification projects on behalf of the certification body SGS Fimko Ltd. according to the relevant procedures and work instructions of the certification body; 3.Supply to the lab or clients brief proposals for translations like safety warning sentences, markings or specific terms, not including the translation of complete instruction manuals or larger sections thereof; 4.Support the certification body or testing lab to occasionally prepare translations of technical documents which are not otherwise available in English language (like discussion papers of the EKs, documents by authorities etc. in German language) or to review and improve existing translations; 5.Other similar tasks as required.
Job requirements: 1.Bachelor's degree or above; 2.With high proficiency in German, native German speakers are preferred. Non-German locals are required to have excellent listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in German; 3.Proficient in English as well, excellent English understanding and expression skills; 4.Experience in reviewing or translating technical documents, user manuals, or other related industries is preferred; 5.Strong learning ability, execution ability and teamwork spirit; 6.Proficient in using office software such as Word/Excel and Adobe software.
