岗位职责: Job Title: Officer Department: Entrepreneurship Center, OKT, HKUST(GZ) Job ID: Job Posting Details Formally established in June 2022, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) (HKUST(GZ)) is a cooperatively-run higher education institution between the Chinese mainland and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. HKUST(GZ) has obtained approval from the Ministry of Education (MoE) and become the first legally-independent educational institution co-established by the Mainland and Hong Kong since the announcement and implementation of the “Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” and the “Overall Plan for Deepening Globally Oriented Comprehensive Co-operation amongst Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in Nansha of Guangzhou”. With a spirit of pioneering innovation, HKUST(GZ) charts new territories in cross-disciplinary education and explores new frontiers in pedagogies, aiming to serve as a role model of the mainland-Hong Kong integrated educational development and become a world-famous high-level university, endeavoring to nurture future-oriented, high-level and innovative talents. The Office of Knowledge Transfer (OKT) is dedicated to providing lean and efficient coordination, establishing effective processes and communication channels, elevating external engagement, and fostering successful collaboration with commercial sectors that will deliver our mission and aspiration in industries and community services. Duties The appointee will be required to: 1. Coordinate the collaboration with different external partners, including but not limited to governments, investment firms, incubators, and accelerators. 2. Provide support to on campus startup teams in their engagement with external partners. 3. Organize events and activities of the Entrepreneurship Center, including workshops, seminars, competitions, and other programs. 4. Manage the center's database and maintain accurate records of stakeholders, partners, and participants. 5. Assist with the development and implementation of marketing and promotional materials for the center's programs and events. 6. Other duties as assigned by the Center Director. 任职要求: Qualification Requirements 1. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred. 2. Strong organizational and administrative skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. 3. Experience of working in tech incubators is preferred. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management systems. 6. Fluent in English and Mandarin. This is a Mainland appointment, and the appointee will be offered a contract by HKUST Mainland entity in accordance with the Mainland labor laws and regulations.
