Job Title: Senior Merchandiser / Senior Sourcing Specialist

We only deal in our own range of unique products ‘Vinyl Music Records’ “黑胶唱片” products, 12”LP Vinyl Records, Manufactured by ourselves in Panyu, China & Europe, as well as Record players, Record cases, Record cleaning kits, Radio Cassette players, Pre recorded Audio cassette tapes. (We are not a trading company!) Brand Names: Retro Musique, Vinyl Buddy, Musicbank, ILV (I Love Vinyl)
Your Mission! (Job)
>Working directly with the director of the company for all aspects of product development.
>Handle end to end product development until finished production.
>Experience in small audio products for Europe, USA markets, product compliance ie testing certificates, would be an big advantage.

Key Responsabilities:
> Material and Technology Sourcing: Includes, Wood, Recycled Plastic, PP Plastics, Metal, We will only work with ‘Factories’ that are specialised in these materials.
>Small ‘Audio Products’.
>Locate, evaluate and assess suitable manufacturers.
>Factory Evaluation, conduct thorough evaluations of ‘All’ factories to ensure they meet our standards for quality, sustainability, and ethical practices.
> Factory Audit, conduct on-site quality controls and strict QC Arrangement Implement rigorous testing protocols for new ‘Factories’ monitoring to ensure they meet performance, durability, and quality standards.
>Sustainability Focus: Prioritize sourcing materials and partners that align with the brand' sustainability goals’ aiming to reduce environmental impact across the product range.
>Forecasting delays and course corrective action if needed.
>Manage costings and coordinate the Price Negotiation with suppliers.

Requirement:
>We are looking for a highly experienced and knowledgeable ‘Senior Sourcing Specialist’ to join our team. This critical role involves not only sourcing but also being a ‘Vital’ part of ‘Product Development’.
>The ideal candidate will have a profound knowledge of ‘Sourcing the right product from the right factory’ whilst always maintaining quality levels by combining Chinese flexibility with German diligence.
>This position requires a proactive approach to, evaluating factories, and material selections for our current and future products.
>Regular travel for factory visits is an essential requirement with and without the boss of the company.

Qualifications:
>Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing within the ‘FMCG’ industry.
>Proven track record of finding the ‘Right factory’ with successful factory management.
>Good knowledge of ‘Raw materials’ with the ability to conduct market research.
>English (Excellent, written & oral).
> Quick to learn new production processes and build material know-how.

Salary level RMB 9 -11K depending on the experience level.

Working hours & Benefits:
Working hours are 8 hours with a five-day week; however you will be required to work such hours in order to complete your work, if necessary. The company offers a competitive remuneration package that includes social insurance a stable salary based on increment evaluation.
