Strategic Buyer（设备/自动化方向）


Position Summary
Responsible for Supplier sourcing & management, Negotiations, Cost savings, Supply market understanding and analysis, and new materials setting for Carl Zeiss Vision China operation.


Responsibility
1) As the low cost automation lead buyer, work closely with the technical team for automation supplier sourcing, management, price negotiation and project follow up, etc. for the company in China.
2) Define the global commodity strategy for low cost automation purchasing.
3) Coordinate between suppliers and other ZEISS entities overseas to support their automation project sourcing from Asia/China in terms of project understanding, processing, price negotiation, logistics, installation and other possible missions.
4) Concerning the production material, work cross-functionally within the organization between Technical, supply chain, finance and manufacturing to procure and manage components with competitive terms.
5) Build and maintain the supplier base. Conduct supplier assessment and continuous improvement activities with supplier.
6) Supply market research, developing and implementing cost reduction strategies while collaborating with global procurement, engineers and suppliers.
7) Demonstrate and implement material group strategy for assigned material group.
8) Maintain good relationship and communications internally and externally.
9) Minimize the supplying risk: Back up supplier setting up; Frame contract negotiation with supplier, etc.
10) Regular report in assigned format.

qualification
61 University or above，Mechanical or IE background preferred
61 5 years working experience in purchasing / IE.
61 Very good at Microsoft office. ERP/SAP experienced
61 Familiar with purchase process.
61 Quick learner, able to work under pressure and handle project independently. Strategic thinking.
61 Teamwork Spirit.
61 Excellent communication skills also in English, both orally and in writing.
