The candidate will get wide exposure and all-rounded development via the following scope of responsibilities:
(1) Brand / Product Planning 61 Assess relevant industry, competitor, consumers, ingredient & technology trends to help defining regional brand & product strategies, explore opportunities and challenges to improve consumer usage experience and support product portfolio development 61 Construct brand architecture and portfolio plan in coming 3-5 years, to support brand continuous growth and development in regional markets 61 Participate in budgeting and cost management for the initiatives (2) Product Development 61 Orchestrate the whole product development process. Initiate and lead new product development projects from ideation to commercialization, via seamless collaboration with counterparts including technical teams, suppliers and market brand teams. 61 Work with technical teams on prototype development & review, product story, claim support, technical and efficacy tests 61 Work with local regulatory & legal to support product and trademark registration 61 Work with design agencies and suppliers on packaging development 61 Work with manufacturing sites and quality management on commercialization, quality and control 61 Work with project management team to monitor schedules and drive the deliverables on time 61 Work with commercial team to review forecast and financial 61 Manage risks and issues arisen during the development process, coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify contingency and solution.
Requirements: 61 Bachelor degree with major preferably in Marketing / Commerce / Business 61 3 years or above related experience in marketing expertise, preferably in skincare, cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical or FMCG categories. 61 New product development experience in consumer market is preferred. Other related experiences like product launch, brand marketing, sourcing, research & development will also be considered 61 Strong teamwork with proactiveness and self-motivation. He/she is highly presentable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with different cultures and disciplines. 61 Good planning and problem-solving skill with analytical, detail-minded and organized capabilities. Able to zoom-in and zoom-out, i.e. handle and follow through details, while overlooking the project, proactive in identifying risk and opportunity and planning for contingency 61 Highly flexible and ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in the projects. Able to handle jobs independently. 61 Proficient in both written and spoken Chinese, English, Cantonese and Putonghua, as well as computer applications, including MS Office
