Responsibilities: 1) Review and evaluate the test capacity of Deckers Tier 1 factory and accredited Tier 2 labs, and drive for improvement / increasement for Deckers samples testing.
2) Monitor and improve Deckers Tier 1 and Tier 2 labs performance in terms of lab layout, test equipment and lab personnel. 3) Support on the equipment maintenance / calibration, test documentation, reference materials application and planning for accurate test results; 4) Regularly sum up the information of test data, samples, cost, correlation test results for analysis and products quality improvement; 5) Provide lab training to shoe factory and accredited supplier labs and ensure they fully understand of Deckers test methods / standards, and set the examination (equipment operation and paper test) for the lab personnel accreditation. 6) Conduct lab audit to Tier 1 factories and accredited suppliers, and drive for proper follow-up of the corrective action plans after the audit. 7) Regularly monitor the test reports in lab test system to make sure the materials and final products are all properly tested and evaluated. 8) Work with the factory labs and Deckers approved 3rd party labs to ensure effective implementation of the newly updated test methods and standards. 9) Guide and monitor the proper lab set-up in Deckers new partner factories. 10) Assist with lab team leader for the research of industrial test methods and standards, and create or update Deckers test protocol. 11) Provide solutions to Tier factory and accredited supplier labs for inconsistent test results.
Qualifications: 1) Must be University Graduate, College/Bachelor, Engineer or above 2) Minimum 5 years meaningful technical work experience in footwear testing. 3) 5 years technical/relevant experience, FW Product development /engineering, shoe making as a plus factor. 4) Good at Excel, Word, PPT. (Microsoft office). 5) Good at Data statistic and analysis, evaluation of Lab results and doing recommendation. 6) Very Good communication skills, English proficiency verbal and in writing
