Main Responsibilities: 1. Fabric sourcing i. Sourcing brand-appropriate fabrics with competitive prices, good quality and delivery to support Lifestyle business requirement. ii. Must be familiar with market situation and supply of materials (raw material price index, competitor, product, technology). Update and communicate to different stakeholder iii. Build up lifestyle core fabrics sources. iv. Liaise with Test team/3rd party to build up Lifestyle fabric test standards. v. Monitor fabric sourced can pass brand's testing and standard requirement. 2. Supply Chain Management i. Work with CN PD/US PD/US material to understand fabric development request, sample requirement. ii. Synchronize with relevant parties the development progress, e. g. L/D, S/O, quality swatch approval. iii. FDS collection and PLM maintenance. iv. Seasonally fabric collection and selection with nominated mills based on market trends. v. Fabric technology support, call out potential issue at sample stage. vi. Problem and troubleshooting on quality issue. vii. Monitor production and sampling delivery, quality, and color. 3. Mill management i. Price verification and negotiation ii. Monitor quality control and risk assessment on existing mills. iii. Train mill to meet brand test requirement. iv. Regularly evaluate mills’ performance and classify mills level based on brands criteria. v. Build up Lifestyle fabric mills’ portfolio and establish strategic partner relationship with core mills. 4. Projects implementation i. Occasionally project-related task may be assigned. ii. Some reporting document or data analysis is needed for organization’s continuous improvement. QUALIFICATIONS: Required qualifications needed in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Education/Certifications: Preferably graduate from University in Textile Engineering. Can also consider applicants with equivalent relevant working experience. Work Experience: 5-6 years working experience in apparel related textile manufacturing or sourcing industry. Skills/Competencies: - Good resource on knit/woven casual and functional fabric. - Good communication and organization skill. - Familiar with textile manufacturing process, knowhow on different dyeing/printing technique. - Good at MS office tool and have sense of PLM or other ERP system. - Good Written & Spoken English is a must. - Cross department report in multinational company would be a plus.
