Role Objective 1.The incumbent has responsibility in assisting Manager Region in leading, managing the marketing activities of products in assigned territories. Planning and formulation of long- and short-term marketing strategies for the assigned territories. 2.The incumbent will also be responsible for leading and overseeing all marketing network administration and coordination activities relevant to the assigned territories.
Roles and Responsibilities Strategic 1.Assist in the formulation of strategy, annual business plan/budget, policies and procedures of MBV. 2.Assist in planning and organizing the activities of MBV to ensure that the plans, procedures and programs are met through the optimization and efficient utilization of available resources to support organization’s business strategy. 3.Lead and inspire the staff under his/her supervision to set and achieve set targets in order to maximize Company’s and their own potential. Operations 4.Establishes and maintains contacts with existing and potential companies interested in chemicals, petrochemicals and Fertilizer produced in the state of Qatar (” target customer”) to identify and promote Marketing opportunities and product requirements. 5.Collect information, builds up and maintain profile on target customers. Profile to include all information about the type of operation, use of product, credit worthiness, local commercial and market environment, etc. Recommends to Management appropriate promotions strategy and action based on its profile. 6.Proposes and assists in Planning of long, medium & short term marketing strategies includes studying the assigned region/country and formulating policies on available products to meet market requirements. 7.Participates in negotiations and discuss with target customers their requirements in light of product availability, quality, price, duration of contracts, shipping terms, price revisions, phase out procedures, payments and convey the same to headquarters to initiate the agreements. 8.Supervises processes of gathering information and monitoring competitors’ activities, in the assigned region/Country and recommends appropriate modifications to the marketing strategy Includes preparing periodic region/country market reports consisting of information regarding competitor products prices, target customer performances etc. 9.Directly provide guidance to and work closely with the subordinates in all countries assigned under the region dealing with problems and recommends to management immediate and long-term solutions and means for improving performance. 10.Recommends necessary corrective actions concerning target customers' claims by studying the reasons for complaints with Technical Services Section and suggest solution wherever applicable and to provide samples to generate new business as per marketing procedure. 11.Ensures in his region/country that quality requirements are fulfilled, and all procedures are followed. 12.Implement relevant KPl's and evaluation. 13.Assist in identifying suitable avenues for marketing & prom ti n through participation in exhibitions, seminars, conferences and symposia to boost Company’s international image and represent company with various regional and international organizations. 14.Extensive experience in Business Development, preferably with large scale projects. Manage the implementation of business plan in territory. 15.Monitor operations, manage performance, and manage the cost structure - operating and administrative - in territory. 16.Participates in budgets preparation and forecasts and monitors product consumption in the Country to ensure that it corresponds to the budget and forecasts. 17.Participates with Technical Services Section in investigations regarding all commercial and marketing country related claims. Liaises with other sections to speed up all financial, Logistics, and documentary issues. 18.Responsible for entry and follow-ups of all enquiries 19.Gathers information on and monitor competitor’s activities (Prices, procedures, credit facilities, etc.) in the assigned Country and recommends appropriate modifications to the marketing strategy in the Country/Region to maintain Company’s competitive edge. Includes preparing periodic Country/Region market reports consisting of information regarding competitor products, price trends, customer performances, etc. 20.Receives and investigates target customer complaints related to non-quality issues (delay, documentation, etc.) and reports to the Line Manager for all quality claims. 21.Ensures that all MBV Policies and Procedures are enforced and complied with. 22.Performs any other tasks assigned by MBV 23.Above job descriptions are subject to change any time based on MBV’s direction, and as per MBV’s policies and procedures manual People Management 24.Supervise direct subordinates in their day-to-day tasks and provide guidance in managing performance by providing appropriate feedback, mentoring and counselling. 25.Allocate work to subordinates, nominate for training as per MBV guidelines, conduct performance reviews and manage leave and overtime to ensure efficiency. 26.Approve regular vacation scheduling, business leave and emergency leave of subordinates in accordance with the Human Resources policies and procedures.

Behavioral Skills, Knowledge and Experience 1. Educational and qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business/science/management from recognized University. Master’s degree in administration/management from recognized University preferable. 2. Experience 10-12 years of experience in similar industry in the field of marketing, distribution and operations, including 6 years in a supervisory position. Language of neighboring countries is beneficial. 3.
