Essential Functions: 61 Responsible for the sales revenue, Distributor management, salesforce, sales process management for the region 61 Develops innovative and creative sales strategies. 61 Select, assess and manage distributors in the region 61 Maintain, develop and partner with distributors to achieve sales target 61 Develops and manages assigned accounts strategically in order to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth 61 Proactively search for new potential customers. 61 Researches and understands territory growth opportunities for developing an effective business plan and sales strategy 61 Maintains and develops strategic partnerships with key customers and leverages internal resources, when necessary, to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction 61 Develops the client relationship by understanding both short term and long-term needs/goals for optimal positioning of IDT’s products and services 61 Schedules sales calls and travel itinerary to address customer needs and executes sales strategies through timely follow up, including detailed notes captured 61 Communicates with internal sales/customer support service on all customer-related business. 61 Builds sales rapport and business acumen with all customers. 61 Prospects new accounts and prepares information for all sales calls to secure new customers. 61 Educates and provides customers with current product sales information. 61 Maintains records and communications with customer base through IDT’s CRM program 61 Researches and evaluates competitor’s products for internal communications and effective product positioning for a successful sale. 61 Participates on product introduction team for new product launches. 61 Participates in training and ongoing staff meetings at various IDT locations as determined by management. 61 Participates in exhibitions were assigned and provides quantitative and qualitative feedback on assigned exhibitions 61 Manage the team as the people leader. Hire, develop, engage and manage the whole lifecycle of associates proactively. 61 Maintains regular and informative communications with the General Manager. 61 Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Danaher and Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values. 61 Performs other duties as assigned. Education: 61 Bachelor’s degree in biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, molecules diagnostics 61 Master or PhD in a Life Science field is preferred. Professional Experience: 61 7 years of prior sales experience required; preferably in life science reagents/consumables. 61 Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets for at least 2 years required. 61 Application experience within NGS, qPCR, cloning, mutagenesis,etc. and working knowledge of accounts in assigned region preferred. 61 Experience in the China Life Science market, preferably in a customer-oriented and/or sales role. Solution selling experience is a big plus! Travel Requirements (anything requiring overnight stay): 61 Around 25-50% in the assigned territory
