Strategic purpose of the position: 职位的战略意义: 13The Regional Category Manager is responsible for managing the spends of Above-the-line Marketing Communication (short for ATL MARCOM) and creation/execution of procurement strategy. The assigned spend category constitutes significant opportunities of delivering cost efficiency and brand impactful effectiveness to business to accelerate growth.
· Category Coverage: ATL MARCOM, incl. Media, Creative, Integrated Marketing, Digital & Social Marketing, Design & Content Production, Celebrity & IP COOP, PR, Consumer Insight. · Market Coverage: China 70%, 30% for Asian other markets, incl. Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Vietnam, Laos, Nepal, Myanmar, Cambodia, and represents approx. · Spend Coverage: 380MM DKK Main job responsibilities: 主要工作职责(概述): 工作职责Job responsibilities: 13 Team Management: · Lead and manage the performance of ATL sub-team consisting of 3 people. · Develop team capabilities aligned with growth culture. Strategic Sourcing: · Develop and implement regional sourcing strategy for the assigned spend category with close alignments on China/Asia business priorities. · Analyzes and understands the company's historical spending patterns, monitors changes to the internal business needs and strategy, understands the external supply market drivers that can impact future business performance, and modifies the sourcing strategy accordingly. · Adapt and adopt category strategy to develop more long-term strategic approach (e.g. portfolio simplification, compensation methodology changes, etc.) Procurement Operations: · Drive CarlEX procurement across the region. · Interfaces with the commercial stakeholders and execute the aligned sourcing strategy which may include the development of request for proposals (RFP), use of eSourcing tools, bid evaluations, supplier evaluation, development of negotiation strategy, negotiations, supplier selection, and contracting. · Initiates and drives communication and project plans to ensure effective delivery of cost and performance effectiveness. Supplier Management: · Develop/Optimize qualified supply pool within the assigned scope of work · Assist or lead performance reviews with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to evaluate supplier performance (against contract term and other quantifiers in line with procurement value delivery) and make recommendations to address issues and exploit opportunities. · Relationship management with critical suppliers within the assigned scope of work Qualification & Personal Attributes: 资格要求和个人特质: 13能力要求 Competency Requirement Leadership Competency: Cross-functional project leadership skills, with team management experience is preferred. Procurement Competency: Category Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Sourcing Process Management, Cost Management, Contract management, Negotiation, Financial Analysis and stakeholder relationship management. Solid experience on the related category and has a stable track in previous position 任职条件Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree, supply chain, engineering or business-related major is preferred · Min 5 years’ experience in purchasing in MNC or network agency, experience of marketing services is a plus · Self-motivated; result-oriented · English: fluent orally and writing · Good interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit · Strong sense of Business acumen is preferred
