Responsibilities: * Develop inventory reports and lead the periodic inventories of the sample storage areas Management of samples from receiving, internal distribution through lab testing to dispatch dispositioning using database software and basic Microsoft programs such as MS Word and Excel. * Checking samples against sample requirement and raising any issues to the appropriate leader. * Ensure samples are managed within and according to the UL quality and accreditation process requirements * Working with teams to ensure samples are ready and available for test start in the correct location. * Defines the engineering units, ranges, and/or acceptance criteria of instruments to be externally calibrated based on manufacturer’s equipment specifications, standard requirements and/or accreditations. * Checks, verifies and accepts calibration certificates from external calibration service provider(s) * Develops internal procedures for laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance. Qualifications: * University Degree in Electrical and Electronic (in related field of work) as well as 6 years Work Experience of sample/equipment handling related experience or demonstrated competency. * Workable English skill. * Leverages and embraces the diverse knowledge and expertise of the team to solve problems. * Demonstrates ability to proactively adapt actions through preparation and contingency plans. * Demonstrates a good knowledge of equipment used within the conformity assessment industry.
