Job Duties:
1. New Product Focus - Be responsible for the product form, structure and function. Works with global project teams to understand and communicate project scope and evaluate design and resource requirements
2. Effectively and appropriately execute and communicate with all levels of the organization and supplier and make sure assigned projects/tasks are finished as request.
3. Lead to build engineering documents including product specification, DVPR, DFMEA, BOM, etc.
4. Set up detailed project execution plans including tasks/schedule/resource requirement, etc.
5. Conduct regular review with project team(stakeholders) and supplier, monitor project progress verses planed schedule, take appropriate actions to drive the project being successfully delivered on time.
6. Drive project development, follow defined NPD process, identify risks and create contingency plan during execution phase
7. Lead manufacturing/design issue problem solving by working closely with internal and external parties.
8. Lead China made tooling projects including schedule/trail run/FPI and working closely with oversea partners to guarantee the on time on quality delivery.
9. Support sourcing on cost analysis and negotiation.
10. Product Safety, Standards and Reliability - Ensures that products have been tested and evaluated for reliability, and that they meet applicable regulations, codes and standards.

12. Assist Quality Assurance and Reliability Engineering by helping to identify and communicate Critical To Quality requirements and reviewing manufacturing issue and processes.
13. Post PSA—Support existing product maintenance during its product life cycle and factory move.
14. Carry out new vendor engineering audit, ensure the thorough/effective assessment is done for right decision making of vendor selection and corrective action.
15. Work with other functions to actively and timely solve supplier issues including design, project development, manufacturing, and delivery issues.
16. Ensure smooth communication across all team members, internally and externally.
17. Lead and Ensure effective cross-functional cooperation across all team members and all tasks delivered on time and on target.

Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering/Industrial Engineering/Textile engineering or equivalent experience.
2. 4 years of experiences in consumer products for product design, manufacturing.
3. Experience in project management
4. Injection mold or sheet metal tooling design or experiences with Burning Appliance is a big plus.
