Core Responsibility 核心职责
According to need, to teach IGCSE and/or the IB Diploma Program (Grade 11 & 12) in Physics and Mathematics in a way that will enable the students to gain a commitment to, skills in, and a thorough knowledge of the subject(s). 根据需要,教授 IGCSE 和/或 IB 文凭课程(11年级和12年级)的物理和数学,以使学生获得对学科的专注、技能和全面的知识。

Working Relationships 工作关系
80reporting to and working with the Head of School, Coordinators of IGCSE and IB respectively on all matters concerning the teaching and development of the subject, matters of pastoral care and budgets;教育教学、课程发展、学生关怀以及预算的有关的事宜向副校长/汇报;

Main Duties and Responsibilities 主要职责和责任

80She/he submits departmental budget and that it is overseen.
80Teachers attend departmental meetings scheduled. Minutes are taken and shared.
80She/he oversees and implements departmental reviews and subsequent improvements.
80She/he observes each teacher at least once per semester and provides written feedback on this visit.
80She/he promotes a healthy process of reciprocal informal observation of class teaching practices.
80She/he ensures technology is used to facilitate learning and teaching.
80She/he submits textbook and material requirements to appropriate parties.
80She/he promotes healthy interactions among department members during department meetings or Professional Learning opportunities.
80Is on time to the HoD meetings.
80Ensures in-service learning takes place within the department.
80Review of department performance with respect to the 3 school wide goals (to be completed once every semester).
80Review of individual teacher goals (professional and personal).
80Ensures teachers have completed self-appraisal once a semester.
