Main Tasks: Market Intelligence - Build industry knowledge and establish connection to key players along the MG value chain. - Provide mid-to-long term S/D balance, long term sustainability of the players along the MG value chain, competitors, and customers. - Price mechanism & cost benchmarks - Represent in projects preparation, negotiations, and market studies with internal and external stake holders. - Provide input in the preparation of product / SBU strategy. Investment project BASF Zhanjiang Verbund Site - Work together with regional & global strategy team to prepare investment project “business plan”. This includes sales plan, margin, customer, logistics, price delivered to customer, and other relevant documentation. - Customers: Monitor transparent discussion with internal captive division, in terms of offtake volume, logistics concept, qualification management, in line with group benefit, balance with CP strategy. - Identify strategic/spot merchant customers, define long-term collaboration/partnership concepts, and support this discussion with Sales team to the customer. - Logistics – Based on the market practice and needs of customer, define the requirement to the logistics team. And, together develop optimized logistics concept along the network from our site to the customer. - Other commercial activities which CP will be involved in BASF Zhanjiang Verbund project. Interface: work with CP team in HK/LU/China, Supply Chain, Logistics, Legal and BASF Zhanjiang Verbund project team.
