ABOUT YOUR ROLE The Guangzhou site Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all products and services meet the established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves overseeing quality assurance processes, implementing quality control measures, and leading a team to maintain high levels of quality across all site operations. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE The role owns managing site quality teams and LDR development He/She should take the leadership of overall quality performance(KPIs) as elaborated but limited below: I. Quality System Management and Audits * a) Collaborate with Global Quality to maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) at GZ site with zero non-conformance. * b) Execute Global audit plans including Internal, Certification, Surveillance, Client, Regulatory as appropriate; lead the analysis and ensure CAPA are implemented for all findings at GZ site. * c) Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance to Global Quality policy and deployment at GZ site. II. NPI/NPD QA * a) Oversee quality aspects of New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Process Development (NPD), ensuring all QPs are met throughout the product lifecycle and capability is achieved before Mass Production. * b) Review product developed with NPI/NPD QA Engineer to ensure suitable ALT is 100% executed and passed prior to release. * c) Update Product FMEA to identify and mitigate known & potential failures to drive improved Product quality; and generate Quality Assurance Plans (QAP). * d) Continuously work towards meeting Ppk of 1.67 across all CtQs as defined in the QPs. III. In-Process QC Execution * a) Oversee in-process quality control activities to ensure that production processes / recipes/ criteria etc. meet defined quality standards and specifications throughout the manufacturing processes. * b) Lead MRB meetings to drive disposition on NC materials, determine agreed appropriate actions with the MRB stakeholders, and ensure timely resolution to minimize production impact. * c) Work closely with production teams to identify quality issues in real-time, providing guidance and support to implement effective corrective actions and prevent recurrence. * d) Work together with PLT to update Process FMEAs to reflect existing failure modes, develop relevant QCP checks to inspect / test & manage all defects. IV. Client Quality Management * a) Manage and resolve / prevent customer complaints by investigating issues and coordinating all required actions. Compute Client CoPQ / ppm. * b) Communicate timely updates to maintain customer satisfaction. * c) Maintain open communication with customers about quality standards and potential issues. * d) Provide regular updates on quality performance metrics and initiatives. V. Supplier Quality Monitoring * a) Evaluate supplier performance, including audit of conformance to ADS specifications (incl SQRS) as planned. * b) Analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. * c) Address supplier complaints regarding raw material quality. Coordinate with teams to resolve issues and inform suppliers of corrective actions taken. VI. Training and Compliance * a) Where required, design and conduct training programs focused on Quality tools and its application, ensuring all staff know of quality SOPs, inspection techniques, and compliance requirements. * b) Regularly assess own department training needs and work with trainer as appropriate to reflect current practices and regulations. * c) Train staff on QPs and check metrices to ensure compliance to quality standards, fostering a culture of quality ownership within the factory. VII. Other tasks as assigned by superiors. WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU I. Experience in Manufacturing: * a) At least 8 years of working experience in manufacturing, preferably in the quality area of major in Engineering from electronic or semiconductor industry. * b) At least 3 years of experience in quality department management, with skills in performance management for both teams and individual members. * c) Strong leadership abilities and skills in collaboration and coordination with other departments, both internally and externally. II. Technical Skill Requirements: * a) Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Google Workspace and good experience as quality persona in Oracle Fusion ERP. * b) Knowledge of Quality standards and test procedures as necessary to comply with Quality system requirements (i.e. ISO9001, ISO 14001, ISO45001, IATF, etc.). Lead auditor Certification preferred. * c) Quality Tools: Devise and implement world-class quality knowledge and practice (e.g., 8D, Pareto Analysis, Histograms, Cause & Effect Diagrams, PFMEA / QCP, SPC / Cpk, etc.) leveraging with key functional teams. * d) Continuous Improvement: Ability to lead and drive key projects with function to support continuous improvement and overall global quality strategy.
