Key Responsibilities: Ensure execution of the product strategy for the brand to create best overall value in terms of product, price, lead-time and quality y within your product category. Own and manage the production and product Development of product categories from development through stock delivery. Fully responsible for managing the critical path for production to ensure it meets company’s requirements. CBM leads the development and execution of products from concept to a pass off to production, with a focus on on-time, quality, products at the right cost, with the required speed and flexibility in support of the brand strategy. 1. Complete product development, buying and production, responsible for your categories in terms of development process, order, price strategy, etc. 2. Ensure commercial success of the responsible category (sales growth and profit) according to target set by management team. 3. Be responsible for pricing, margin, delivery and quality (the KPIs) over all your categories 4. Generate sourcing strategy, source, and shortlist and pre-qualify suppliers 5. Responsible for developing and maintaining garment and fabric supplier base. Ensure competitive price, good quality as well as workmanship. 6. Work with designers and design managers on sample developments, new trends, fabric sourcing. 7. Assure valid cost breakdowns, constantly focus on optimizing purchasing prices. 8. In charge of buying plan, reflecting lead-time on fabric and garment, with fast response, based on category buying plan/strategy. Ensure capacity through buying plan/strategy. 9. Fully in charge of sample development and fitting/construction. Make sure the category has corrected fit and balance according to set standards. 10. Establish internal reference guides for target prices across categories. 11. Optimize supply chain through process to control cost and lead-times 12. Define supplier KPIs and follow up. 13. Represent and communicate the Bestseller Code of Conduct.
Requirements: 1. At least 8 years garment buying or production experience, with at least 1 year management experience, preference with successful cases 2. Good understanding on product development, independently deliver end to end product development, good negotiation skills with Supplier and Design team 3. Good understanding of womenswear trends, good fashion sense 4. Ability to understand business and data 5. Familiar with Chinese production mode, have supplier resources 6. Mature leadership, could work with multi-team collaboration 7. Multi task skills, team player, well-organized, high efficient, work under pressure 8. Fluent English
