Main tasks and responsibilities: Project development follow up: 1.Receive and study the project request from HQ, being pro-active and suggesting cost-saving optimizations and quality improvements following clients’ guidelines and requirements. 2. Evaluate and propose to the Production Manager the supplier allocation. 3. Transfer the project to the factory clearly explaining quality standards, requirements and tests standards. 4. Review TDS, revise layouts and artworks if necessary. 5. Explain the workflow procedure to new suppliers. 6. Answer factory’s doubts being a bridge with HQ. 7. Support HQ on quotations collection. 8. Coordinate with Production Manager and HQ for TDS revisions. 9. Supervise each material preparation and production step in order to anticipate and correct any problem in advance, with the goal of delivering perfect samples within deadlines. 10. Update Production Manager and HQ on sampling status in terms of quality and delivery date. 11. Update company system (PLM) and files exchanged with HQ on daily basis. 12. Approve materials (both in development and production stages), mock-up samples, PPS after positive physical test results according to BRANDART and customer’s requirements. 13. Check and label any samples to be sent to HQ or customers. 14. Archive materials and samples with due order. 15. Research new innovative and sustainable materials and new production techniques. 16. Travel according to development progress requirements. Bulk production follow up: 17. Align with QA Dept. prior to beginning of production in order to evaluate risks and prevent quality issues. 18. Organize a pre-production meeting with factories to discuss production techniques, product structure and function, standards to prevent quality issues. 19. Coordinate with Planning Dept. for the production schedule and be present on-site during the most critical production steps. 20. Coordinate with QA Dept. for chemical and physical tests arrangements. 21. Update Planning Dept. in case of any change on the production schedule or possible delays. 22. Monitor the production start-up (of both repeat orders at new factories or new development items) until production is stable. 23. Transfer to QA/QC Dept. through a check-list all info regarding the project highlighting critical steps, problems encountered during development and comments from customer. 24. Confirm to supplier the bulk production packing way in alignment with QA Dept. requirements. 25. Collect from supplier all details regarding bulk production packing way and transfer to Production Manager/HQ for TDS update. 26. Select perfect bulk samples from production to be used as reference for future repeat orders. Samples to be labelled and archived as per company’s procedure. 27. Constant support on repeat orders in case of quality problems or necessary improvements to put in action. 28. Travel according to production progress requirements. Required skills, experience and knowledge Personal skills: 1. Being pro-active, open-minded and a problem solver. 2. Able to work under pressure and with tight deliveries, both independently and in team. 3. Strong written and oral communications skills. 4. Precise, well organized, attentive to details and deadlines and goals oriented. 5. Able to set up priorities and to multi-tasking 6. Flexible and cooperative. 7. Willing to travel up to 50% of the time. Experience: 1. with similar products and materials. In a similar role. 2. In luxury industry will be considered a plus. Knowledge of: 1. major certifications and testing requirements for export. 2. Good command of Chinese and English languages, both oral and written. 3. Any other language will be considered a plus. 4. Microsoft Office, in particular Outlook and PowerPoint. 5. Graphic softwares will be considered a plus.
