Sevco Limited is a metal and plastic mechanical part manufacturer with factories in Guangzhou, China, and Mexico, specializing in CNC machined parts, die-cast components, plastic injection parts, and more. We are expanding our team at the Pazhou office in Guangzhou and are seeking a sourcing specialist.

Position Overview: Join us in driving growth by connecting with clients in the European and North American market. We value teamwork, effective communication and self-driven growth.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and source new suppliers for various product categories, focusing on cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring consistent product quality and service.
- Evaluate and qualify new suppliers based on performance, capabilities, and compliance with company standards.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.
- Analyze cost structures and work with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and lead times.
- Work closely with QC team to ensure that sourced products meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure smooth order processing and on-time delivery.
- Ensure suppliers comply with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Assist procurement and QC teams in addressing and resolving any issues related to quality control, delivery delays, or non-compliance.
- Complete other tasks assigned by operation manager on an ad-hoc basis.


Qualifications:
- College degree or higher in International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in sourcing.
- Experience in CNC machining, die-casting, and plastic injection is strongly preferred.
- Automotive industry experience is a valuable plus.
- Good command of written and spoken English is essential.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, sourcing strategies, and cost analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proactive and result-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- High level of adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
